Looking forward to Christmas, Hi everyone, long time since I put a post on. Have been in hospital and also moved house so am ready to start my card crafting again. Hope you like my card. Have used Magnolia 2012, window and tree background from can't remember where, Pinflair Ice Diamond for windows and Christmas Tree, Twinklets Diamond Dust for snowflakes, lace ribbon, snowflake embossing folder with Tom Holtz Barn Door distress inks, pearls added. Snowman Charm, Red Ribbon, Holly and Poinsettia cut out on my Craft Robo, insert to match with verse. Still don't know how to put badges on so my site looks very bare, will have to get someone out to show me what to do. Hope you are getting ready for Christmas and seen you again soon. Hugs Kath xxx.

Sorry it's taken so long to put new post on but have not been very well, am over the worst now so here goes another card.
For yet another colleague at work whose Grand daughter is about to have her 1st birthday. I got the inspiration from Pusselbus whose cards I love. Hope you all like it. Am having to learn how to use my blogspot all over again, well in part anyway as I never got used to it the 1st time round.

I went to Lily of the Valley Open Day yesterday and learned quite a few things so will be putting more posts on and hopefully some tips that may be of help

Hi again everyone,
Once again sorry for the poor quality of these pics. I am going with my Grandson to get a new camera on Saturday as I have a little spare time (My grandson is 22 so he will advice my which one to pick.

I made this Mother's Day card for a male colleague of mine who requested I made it in lilac as this is his mum's favourite colour. The postcard - which pulls out - has a verse on that says:

Mum's smiles can brighten any moment,
Mum's hugs put joy in all our days,
Mum's love will stay with us forever,
And touch our lives in precious ways.

Again I hot foiled the sentiments in lilac. I made a matching box as usual but this did not really come out very well on my camera so have left it off this blog.

I am now going for a well earned rest as my back is in half (OLD AGE).

Baby for Katy

Hi Everyone,
Sorry about the poor quality of these pictures. I have still not got myself a new camera.
I was asked by one of my bosses at work to make a congratulations of your new baby card for a female friend of his who does not know whether she is having a boy or girl (hence making it is green and yellow).
The digi stamp is from Mo's Digi Pencil website and I love this image.
I have embossed a background and lightly rubbed a stamp pad over it. I knitted the booties (I have the knitting pattern if anyone would like me to email it to them). I made a ticket with congratulations and Katy's name on it and heat foiled it in gold. I attached a pocket with a pull out insert to put own message on. Once again I have made a matching box with bow.
Hope you all like it and once again sorry about the poor quality of the pictures. I am going to get a new camera and enter this into a challenge if I can find one. (my first challenge)

Hello Everyone,
It's been a while since I put on a new post but I saw this text stamp and had to find the cinderella stamp to go with it. I must get myself a new camera as mine is rather old now so I hope you can see the text on the bottom, if not it reads
'Cinderella is a proof, that a new pair of shoes can change your life'
I printed this digi text stamp onto my laser printer (that I paid 99p for on ebay) and then put it through my hot foil machine that I treated myself to for Christmas.
I love this card. It is quite minimalist but sometimes I feel that's all that's needed.

Here is a Magnolia Mother's Day Card I have made.  I have added an insert with the same Rose Print Paper and thought I would pretty up one of the boxes I bought from Tracy Payne seeing that Mother's Day is fast approaching and I think all Mother's deserve a nice card in a box.
